Pride in the Park

About Crewe Pride in the Park

Crewe Pride in the Park is organised by a group of staff volunteers at Cheshire East Council and Crewe Town Council.

We started in 2018 with our very first event in the beautiful grounds of Tatton Park in Knutsford.

In 2019 Pride in the Park moved to Queens Park in Crewe where around 5000 visitors joined us for what was a fantastic day featuring our very first parade, a number of live music acts on what must have been the hottest day of the year!

Queens Park has now become our forever home, and in 2020 we had planned to return there for an even bigger and better event, featuring rising stars Bang Bang Romeo. Whilst Covid-19 put a stop to our live event in 2020, it didn’t stop us hosting our first ever Virtual Pride on 25th July 2020.

2021 will see our second Virtual Pride event take place on Saturday 25th September with Bang Bang Romeo coming back to join us for a jam-packed schedule of music and entertainment. We are excited to announce that we will also be hosting a number of community events over the Autumn and beyond before coming back to Queens Park in Summer 2022 for our long-awaited live event.

Pride in the Park is a free event and is open to all, regardless of sexuality or gender. It is important to us that Pride in the Park is a community event in support of the LGBTQ+ community in Crewe and beyond.
